BASIC Studios began as an idea in 2014, born out of survival. By the mid-2020s, BASIC Studios formally emerged as a survivor-led creative coalition, uniting wellness education, myth-based media, and community advocacy under one roof.

We are a safe place where you can figure out who you are, share your experiences, and be supported through the hard parts of life. This is a sanctuary for self-exploration and expression, grounded in solidarity and resilience, where people can show up as they are and still feel like they belong.

BASIC Studios empowers individuals to navigate life’s challenges with confidence through accessible mental wellness resources, creative media, and supportive community programs, while advocating for the 3 D’s: Disease, Disorder, and Disability.

We are committed to an inclusive environment where neurodiversity is celebrated and people are not punished for how their brains work. We focus on reducing shame, stigma, and the barriers that show up around disease, disability, disorder, and other challenges, because nobody should have to fight for dignity while already fighting for stability.

Through COURAGE, we seek to deepen understanding of mental health challenges and prioritize mental wellness, building a compassionate, supportive community where more people can thrive.
