BASIC Studios is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and working to apply relevant accessibility standards so that our site remains usable, welcoming, and functional for as many people as possible.

Our Commitment

BASIC Studios operates with a disability-informed perspective. Accessibility is not an “extra feature” for us. It is part of how we define a safe and usable online environment. We are making ongoing efforts to improve the accessibility of our site and services because we believe it is a collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use for those of us with disabilities.

Accessibility Standards

We reference the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Our goal is to improve the site in alignment with these standards and to keep accessibility in mind as we build new pages, publish new content, and update existing features.

WCAG includes three levels of conformance:

  • Level A
  • Level AA
  • Level AAA

Conformance Status

We aim to make all pages and content on https://basicstudios.us/ accessible. However, some content may not yet fully meet the highest accessibility standards. This may happen for reasons that include:

  • Ongoing updates while we improve design and site structure
  • Limitations or inconsistencies in third-party tools, plugins, themes, or embedded services
  • Older content created before current accessibility improvements were in place
  • Situations where the most suitable technological solution is still being identified

What We Are Working On

We are continuously working to improve accessibility, including efforts such as:

  • Improving readability and clarity across pages
  • Supporting keyboard navigation where possible
  • Reviewing color contrast and text legibility
  • Adding or improving alternative text for meaningful images
  • Reducing layout friction that may impact screen readers or users with cognitive overload
  • Monitoring new content for accessibility issues before publishing

Known Limitations

Some areas of the site may still present barriers, especially where content depends on third-party services or where legacy content has not yet been fully updated.

If you encounter a barrier, we want to know about it so we can fix it.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the BASIC Studios website. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers on our website. We try to respond to feedback within 3–5 business days.
